Stone Type: Imperial Jade (Jadeite, from Burma)
There are two types of jade that are considered true jade, even though they are completely different minerals. One is Nephrite Jade, and the other is Jadeite.
Jadeite is the rarer of the two types of Jade. It is a pyroxene mineral (sodium aluminium oxide) and is harder than Nephrite, but not as tough.
This is the famed Imperial Jade of Chinese legend.
Jadeite cultivates a sense of inner calm and tranquility.
It assists in creating harmony and social cohesion, both within families, communities or business organisations.
Jadeite increases abundance and prosperity.
Children and teenagers will benefit from jadeite, which cultivates self-confidence.
Jadeite is used in dream recall as well as interpreting dreams.
