Bismuth is a relatively rare metal and a pure element (Bi on the periodic table). It almost never forms as crystals in nature. Rather, it is extracted as a byproduct of refining other metals, such as copper, tin, gold, silver and lead.
It can be crystalized, however, by melting it and allowing it to cool. A surface layer of oxide is responsible for its iridescent rainbow colours.
Bismuth promotes teamwork and togetherness and as such is ideal for working in relationships or within groups of people. It also helps us to feel less lonely and isolated .
As Bismuth is also stimulating and energizing, it can help teams to move forward in their purpose.
Bismuth is attributed with aiding shamanic journeying and is said to alter ones energy at the crown chakra and transmit through to the base chakra.
