Cavansite is a rare Calcium Vanadium Silicate mineral, which is predominantly found in India, where it forms as unique little blue “puff balls”. As these little crystal balls are very fragile, they need to be stabilized before they can be used in jewellery, by impregnating them with an epoxy resin.
