Prehnite is a hydrated calcium aluminium silicate that forms as a result of hydrothermal activity in balsatic rock. This interesting variant of Prehnite is found in Mali. It contains needle like inclusions of Epidote
Prehnite helps to quieten the mind, abate nervous tension and release ego attachments to emotional wounds. It supports one in living from the heart.
Sometimes referred to as a stone of prophecy, prehnite is said to sharpen psychic abilities and precognition and aid in the recall of dreams.
Prehnite also facilitates contact with guardian angels and spirit guides.
Epidot is an aluminium iron silicate mineral often found in metamorphic rocks as a secondary mineral (it is the replacement mineral that forms when other minerals have undergone metamorphosis).
Epidot amplifies and returns to us whatever we project to the world. If we show generosity it will manifest abundance. If we show kindness, it will return lots of loving kindness to our lives. For this reason, it is best to only use Epidote when in a clear and favorable state of mind, and already projecting some of what we desire.
